At the Pere Tarrés Foundation, we are seeking a **building maintenance coordinator** with a versatile technical profile to ensure the proper operation and preservation of our centers, primarily located in Barcelona and the metropolitan area.
We seek an autonomous, solution-oriented, and trustworthy individual with experience in comprehensive building maintenance and the ability to liaise with center managers and suppliers.
What will your responsibilities be?
* Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance across various centers.
* Resolve incidents related to plastering, painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electricity.
* Inspect the general operation of installations: electrical and water circuits, circulation pumps, boilers, accumulators, and air conditioning systems.
* Identify maintenance needs and propose preventive actions.
* Assess incidents and determine whether they can be resolved internally or require outsourcing to external service providers.
* Coordinate and monitor suppliers and specialized companies.
* Inform center managers about completed interventions and identified incidents.
* Travel daily to assigned buildings, primarily within Barcelona and the metropolitan area.
What do we offer?
* Permanent contract.
* Full-time schedule of **37.5 hours per week**.
* Standard working hours from Monday to Friday, scheduled within the 8:00–18:00 time frame, to be confirmed.
* Occasional availability to address incidents outside regular hours or during weekends, always ensuring appropriate rest periods.
* Reference center located at C/Numància, with frequent travel to various centers across Barcelona and the metropolitan area.
* Planned start date: **1 September 2026**, or as soon as possible.
* Minimum verifiable experience of **2 years** in comprehensive building maintenance. Experience of 5 years or more will be especially valued.
* Practical knowledge of plastering, painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electricity.
* Basic understanding of the operation of office buildings, educational centers, or residential facilities.
* Ability to work autonomously and organize interventions efficiently.
* Service orientation, problem-solving capability, and attention to repair quality.
* Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with center managers and suppliers.
* **Valid driving license is mandatory.**
* Possession of a motorcycle or ease of mobility within Barcelona will be considered an asset.
