Positive work environment, training, and professional growth Chef for 4★ Hotel – Hotel Turia, Valencia **Job Description:** We are Hotel Turia, a 4-star establishment located in the former Turia riverbed, featuring a gastrobar, buffet dinner service, terrace, and banquet events. We are looking for a professional, proactive **chef** with a passion for Mediterranean cuisine to join our gastronomic team. **Responsibilities:** * Preparing daily menus, **breakfast and dinner buffets**, gastrobar offerings, and banquets. * Buffet setup and dish presentation. * Quality control, stock management, ordering, and waste tracking. * Compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations (HACCP). * Collaborative teamwork within the kitchen department. **Essential Requirements:** * Minimum **1 year** of experience in hotel kitchens or buffet services. * Minimum formal training in hospitality/culinary arts (Vocational Training or equivalent). * Food Handler’s Certificate. * Availability for **rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays**. * Residence in Valencia or surrounding areas. **Desirable Requirements:** * Experience in buffet dinners and Mediterranean cuisine. * Organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail. **We Offer:** * Permanent contract or contract as per collective agreement, plus incentives. * Immediate start. * Positive work environment, continuous training, and opportunities for growth. * Central location, adjacent to the Turia riverbed and Nuevo Centro.
