DESCRIPTION At ALEGRIA Group, we are looking for a Chef with at least 2 years of experience to join our kitchen team at our ALEGRIA Bodega Real Hotel. As a chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting dishes, ensuring the highest quality and compliance with food hygiene and safety standards. Your mission will be to contribute to the gastronomic excellence that defines ALEGRIA Group, guaranteeing customer satisfaction. **Job Responsibilities:** * Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following the hotel's established recipes and standards. * Collaborate in menu development and daily specials suggestions. * Manage food inventory, place orders, and monitor stock levels to minimize waste. * Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen, including equipment, utensils, and work areas. * Comply with all food hygiene and safety regulations (HACCP). * Participate in receiving and storing goods. * Support the kitchen team in all tasks necessary for smooth service operations. * Adapt to different kitchen stations as required by service needs. * Supervise and train kitchen assistants, if necessary. * Ensure proper dish presentation and plating. REQUIREMENTS **Job Requirements:** * Minimum verifiable experience of 2 years as a chef in hotels or restaurants. * Solid knowledge of culinary techniques and national and international cuisine. * Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment. * Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality. * Valid food handler’s certificate is mandatory. * Knowledge of HACCP regulations. * Proactive individual with strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude. * Flexible working hours to accommodate rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. * Professional training in Culinary Arts or related field is desirable. * Local residence or willingness to commute.
