At **Flo**, we are seeking a **Leisure Time Director** to manage, coordinate, and monitor a camp in Teruel/province. We seek a candidate with proven camp experience, leadership ability, and sound judgment to reliably manage day-to-day service operations. We do not seek solely a certified individual, but rather someone capable of **coordinating teams, anticipating problems, resolving incidents, and distinguishing what is essential from what is incidental**, ensuring the camp operates smoothly. The selected person will be responsible for organizing daily activity implementation, coordinating the team of monitors, addressing any difficulties that may arise, and maintaining fluid communication with the company, families, and/or the entity responsible for the program. Main responsibilities * Direct and coordinate the overall functioning of the camp. * Organize daily activities, schedules, groups, materials, and resources. * Coordinate the team of monitors, assigning tasks and supervising their work. * Conduct continuous service monitoring and identify areas for improvement. * Resolve incidents related to participants, families, staff, or activities. * Make operational decisions judiciously, prioritizing safety and service quality. * Filter essential information from incidental details, conveying only relevant items to the company for proper management. * Ensure compliance with the educational and leisure programming. * Safeguard participants’ safety, coexistence, and well-being. * Coordinate arrivals, departures, authorizations, lists, attendance, and incidents. * Maintain communication with families, the contracting entity, and company supervisors as needed. * Supervise adherence to internal regulations, protocols, and safety measures. * Prepare or provide camp monitoring reports. Requirements * Qualification as a **Leisure Time Director**. * Prior experience in camps, urban summer camps, or similar activities. * Demonstrated ability to coordinate teams. * Skills in conflict and incident resolution. * Responsibility, autonomy, and sound judgment in decision-making. * Positive interpersonal skills with minors, families, and colleagues. * Ability to work under pressure and remain calm during unforeseen events. * Availability to work in Teruel or the province of Teruel during the camp period. Preferred qualifications * Residence in Teruel or nearby areas. * Prior experience as a camp director. * Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle. * Training in first aid. * Knowledge of safety, childhood, and educational leisure activity protocols. * Ability to organize documentation and perform basic administrative control. * Experience coordinating large teams or high-participation activities.
