**Objective**

At Parkinson Association Madrid, we seek to hire a person responsible for the Associate Development, Community and Training Area, with the aim of strengthening associative life, encouraging participation by members and their families, coordinating social and training activities, and nurturing the bond between the organization and its community.
We are looking for a candidate with social sensitivity, organizational capacity, relational skills, and experience in the third sector, who enjoys direct interaction with people and is able to foster trust, belonging, and participation.
**Main Responsibilities**
Coordinate workshops and training activities targeted at people with Parkinson’s disease, their families, and caregivers.
Promote active participation by members, families, volunteers, and collaborators, reinforcing the sense of community.
Coordinate and supervise the volunteer area and the sports team, in collaboration with the respective area coordinators.
Identify the needs, interests, and concerns of members and their families.
Develop programs and initiatives to retain members.
Handle complaints, suggestions, and conflicts, channeling them in an approachable and constructive manner.
Coordinate training activities for external parties.
Coordinate the development of patronage, inheritance, and legacy programs targeting the organization’s membership base.
**Profile We Are Seeking**
We seek a person with experience in social organizations, associations, foundations, or community projects, capable of coordinating activities, energizing communities, and nurturing relationships with members and their families.
A human-centered, empathetic, and sensitive perspective toward people with Parkinson’s disease and their families will be especially important, as well as skills in active listening, mediation, and trust-building.
**Requirements**
Formal education in Psychology, Social Work, Social Education, Sociology, Pedagogy, Communication, Advertising and Public Relations, or related fields.
Experience in the third sector, social organizations, associations, foundations, or community projects.
Experience coordinating activities, programs, or projects aimed at service users, members, families, or volunteers.
Organizational, planning, and follow-up capabilities.
Interpersonal communication skills, active listening, and approachable interpersonal conduct.
Autonomy, initiative, and a solution-oriented attitude.
Proficiency in office software and record-keeping systems or databases.
Social sensitivity and alignment with the values of Parkinson Association Madrid.
**Especially Valued**
Prior experience managing volunteer programs.
Experience in member, donor, or membership-base retention programs.
Experience in patronage, inheritance, and legacy programs.
**Profile:**
