Job Description **What challenge do we propose?** We are looking to hire a **Senior COBOL Analyst Programmer** to participate in a project focused on maintaining and evolving critical applications within a stable, long-standing technology environment. The selected candidate will join a technical team working on: * Mainframe application development and maintenance * Incident resolution and evolutionary enhancements * Participation in the design and technical analysis of solutions Collaboration in continuous improvement of systems and processes * This is a position with direct impact on critical systems, where you can contribute your legacy environment expertise and participate in **architectural-level** technical decisions. Requirements **What are we looking for?** * University degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. Proven experience as a developer in COBOL environments. * **Hard skills** Solid knowledge of COBOL. Centralized system architecture (z/OS, Adabas/Natural/COBOL). Distributed system architecture. Adabas/Natural/COBOL/CICS programming environments. Client/server applications. Functional and technical system design. System and application standardization. EntireX **Desirable Requirements** Experience in highly critical environments or those with high transaction volumes. Knowledge or experience in distributed systems. Experience in technical analysis and/or solution design. Familiarity with evolutionary maintenance methodologies.
