As the on-site leader, the City Lead drives operational excellence, team performance, and the overall customer journey within their city, acting as the bridge between global standards and local execution. **The Role** The City Lead holds **full accountability for daily operations and performance of an urban warehouse**. While remaining highly involved in hands-on operational tasks (60–70%), this role carries **clear managerial and financial responsibilities**. You lead the local team, manage warehouse costs, ensure efficient fleet turnover, and drive continuous operational improvement. This role is accountable not only for execution but also for outcomes. Reporting directly to the District Manager, you are responsible for delivering a high-performing, profitable, and customer-focused operation every day. **Key Responsibilities** * Be responsible for the **overall warehouse performance** across all Rental and Service activities. * Lead, supervise, and develop the local operational team—including shift and task planning, as well as performance feedback. * Serve as the warehouse’s **cultural and operational role model**. * Track KPIs daily and ensure compliance with SOPs. * Monitor and improve vehicle availability, intervening directly to perform repairs when necessary. * Be responsible for **warehouse cost management**, including consumables usage, rework prevention, and disciplined cost-control practices. * Oversee RV preparation and presentation for sales appointments. **Practical Requirements** * Able to lift or move light-to-moderate objects (10–15 kg) and stand, walk, and move around the warehouse for extended periods. * Comfortable working indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions. * Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and peak-demand periods, supporting urgent operational needs. * 3–5 years of experience in fast-paced operations, logistics, rental, hospitality, or customer-facing environments. * Strong hands-on operational capability, with ability to engage directly in daily warehouse workflows. * Ability to multitask, prioritize, and execute physical tasks during high-activity periods. * Flexibility to work extended shifts during peak seasons, ensuring operational continuity. * Valid driver’s license (Category B) required. * English proficiency (mandatory); Spanish is a plus. **The Indie Commitment** * Join a young, innovative, and fast-growing company where you can truly make a difference. * Professional development opportunities in Field Operations and potential transition to our offices in Lisbon, Mexico City, or Manila. * Ongoing training and coaching to develop the skills most important to you. * Competitive compensation package including performance and referral bonuses. * Free Road Trips to experience Indie firsthand across Europe, North America, and Oceania. ***Are You*** **Ready to Go Indie?**
