Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and responsible lathe operator to operate machinery, interpret technical drawings, and produce metal parts, as well as perform basic maintenance. Basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery We are looking for a lathe operator to work in Teià, in the metal sector. Tasks include operating lathes to machine, thread, cut, drill, rough-turn, and finish-turn metal parts. You must also read and interpret technical drawings to understand dimensions, tolerances, and materials; select and install appropriate cutting tools; and produce shafts for electric motors. Additionally, you will carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery, along with other duties inherent to the position. The contract is full-time, with 40 weekly hours from Monday to Friday on the afternoon shift, from 14:00 to 22:00, including legally mandated breaks. * Minimum 2 years’ prior experience as a lathe operator. * Technical knowledge: interpretation of industrial drawings and use of measuring tools. * We seek a proactive and responsible individual. * Residence near the workplace is desirable.
