The success of our team is built on innovative solutions and close collaboration with our customers. **WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT** ------------------------- * Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services that support and enhance BASF Coatings’ internal and external applications. * Work in an agile and self-organizing team, collaborating effectively with your colleagues. * Develop new backend functionalities using Java and Spring Boot, following modern backend engineering principles and best practices. * Maintain and improve existing backend services, ensuring long-term performance, reliability, and maintainability. * Design, implement, and evolve RESTful APIs and service interfaces. * Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code aligned with team standards. * Contribute to planning, refinement, reviews, and continuous improvement. * Collaborate with frontend developers. * Implement and maintain unit and integration tests. * Participate in operations with a DevOps mindset. * (Desirable) Interest in frontend technologies such as Angular. **WHAT YOU BRING** ------------------ * Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
