Amazon Operations IT Technicians do not perform typical office-based functions; instead, they maintain and support the various computer systems that form a critical part of our operational facilities.
As an IT Support Technician, you will work in a logistics center alongside other team members, remote support teams, and additional company personnel to deliver vital technical support services. In this role, you will work with the latest technology in an environment that fosters mentorship and professional growth opportunities.

Key job responsibilities
Provide local user assistance through installation, support, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure, end-user devices, and applications.
Manage tickets, delivering first- and second-level support.
Perform proactive maintenance to optimize the availability of all IT equipment.
Implement projects and develop innovative solutions collaboratively with your team members.

About the team
The Operations Technology Solutions (OTS) team provides uninterrupted technical support to Amazon’s global operations. Maintaining, updating, and securing the IT infrastructure and end-user devices of one of the world’s largest companies requires diverse skill sets.
The team includes, in part, engineers who help implement and build new solutions, as well as other professionals responsible for management tasks—advising technical support teams to ensure better service delivery to end users.
The Amazon OTS team strives to balance performance and sustainability across all new solutions. Much of our team works onsite. The team operates 24/7, enabling us to provide support or carry out critical maintenance tasks with minimal disruption to operations.
**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**

* Relevant experience handling hardware and software—including Microsoft Office or Windows—in an IT role.
* Relevant experience in an IT support environment or in IT asset and procurement management.
* Relevant experience communicating with a broad range of business partners—including team members and leadership.
* Advanced level of Spanish, both spoken and written.
* Valid driver’s license.
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another technical field.
* Experience with computer networking.
