It involves developing and updating demand forecasts using statistical models and market intelligence, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align business objectives. Short- and medium-term plans must also be created, balancing inventory levels, service levels, and costs. Forecast deviations are analyzed, corrective actions implemented, and product launches, promotions, and market changes taken into account. In addition, the supply flow is monitored to identify bottlenecks. The environment is dynamic and international, utilizing advanced data analytics tools. Analytical capability, problem-solving orientation, and effective communication across different departments are required. Adaptability and eagerness to learn are highly valued.
