If you master **Java** and **Spring Boot**, and are motivated to work in **agile teams**, this opportunity is for you! **Your Role** ---------- As a **Senior Java Backend Developer**, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining **scalable microservices**, applying best practices in software engineering, architecture, and code quality. You will work in an **agile (Scrum)** environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on key projects within the **Iberia** ecosystem. **Minimum Requirements** ---------------------- * Experience in **Java backend development** (versions 8, 11, 17 or 21\). * **Spring Boot** and the **Spring** ecosystem (Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Spring Data, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring Integration, Spring Container). * **Microservices Architecture** and **Hexagonal Architecture**. * **OOP** (Object-Oriented Programming) and **Object-Oriented Design**. * **TDD (Test Driven Development)** and **DDD (Domain Driven Design)**. * **Relational and NoSQL databases** (Oracle, Aurora, DynamoDB, PL/SQL, JDBC, JPA, Hibernate, ORM). * **CI/CD** and **Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK)**. * **REST / SOAP / JSON / XML APIs**. * **Unit testing** with **JUnit / Mockito**. * **Security and Cryptography**, **Logging**, **Building/Packaging**. * **AWS Cloud**: EC2, S3, Lambda, SNS, SQS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Networking, Fargate, EventBridge. * **Desirable Skills** * **GitHub** * **Dynatrace** * **Jira** and **Confluence** * **Automated testing** (Karate, Xray) * **Technical English level (minimum B1\-B2\)** **Location and Conditions** --------------------------- * **Madrid** or surrounding areas. * **Hybrid model:** On-site presence once per month (as required by the team). * **Working hours:** + Mon–Thu: 8.5h \| Fri: 7h. + **July and August:** Intensive schedule (Mon–Fri: 7h). * **Incentives:** On-site attendance bonus of **€7/day** \+ **commuting expenses**. * **Production deployments:** Once per month (rotating).
