Ideally, you have a solid technical foundation and a mindset of continuous improvement, attention to detail, and the ability to build maintainable, purposeful software. We use generative AI tools to accelerate tasks, explore alternatives, and automate repetitive work—without delegating technical judgment. We especially value individuals who collaborate respectfully and effectively: people who justify their decisions, listen actively, give and receive feedback maturely, and understand that building great software also means cultivating healthy team dynamics. **Responsibilities**: * Design and develop dynamic, accessible, and responsive interfaces aligned with the project’s design system. * Build reusable and scalable React components while maintaining high standards of quality and maintainability. * Collaborate closely with design, backend, and other technical roles to define and evolve features. * Integrate backend services via REST and/or GraphQL APIs, ensuring efficient data handling. * Optimize frontend performance and user experience. * Actively participate in Agile practices and eXtreme Programming techniques. * Use generative AI tools to optimize development workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and explore technical solutions. **Requirements** * Minimum 3\-4 years of frontend development experience. * Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript. * Solid experience with at least one modern framework—ideally React and/or Next.js. * Ability to translate business requirements into maintainable, efficient technical solutions. * Experience integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs. * Experience working with version control, code reviews, pull requests, and continuous integration and deployment. * Practical experience with frontend testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. * Understanding of software design principles, modularity, and scalability in frontend applications. * Autonomy to assume technical responsibilities and advance tasks with sound judgment. * Sensitivity toward user experience, accessibility, and attention to detail. * Intermediate English proficiency. **Nice to Have** * Strong communication skills and the ability to defend technical decisions with solid arguments. * Prior experience working with infrastructure or DevOps concepts. * Knowledge or experience in Context Engineering. * Interest in speaking at technical events or actively contributing to the tech community. **What We Offer** * 100% remote or hybrid model with two days per week in-office. * Private health insurance. * Wellhub for physical and mental wellness support. * Flexible compensation with tax-advantaged benefits for meals, transportation, or childcare. * 28 vacation days per year. * Three weeks per year of full remote work. * A personalized career development plan aligned with your professional interests. * Access to official certifications through partners such as Google, Salesforce, and Adobe. * Jxpert, internal technology training programs. * Jlab, a technology solutions testing lab. * Language training. **About Jakala** We are an ecosystem designed to connect talent and innovative solutions to drive value for organizations, individuals, and society.
