DESCRIPTION **TECHNOLOGY** **COMPANY** with 30 years of proven experience in the **DESIGN** and **MANUFACTURING** of **TELECOMMUNICATIONS** **EQUIPMENT**, enjoying broad international recognition, seeks to hire a **PROCUREMENT** **MANAGER** in **VIGO**. **WE OFFER:** * Indefinite-term contract. * Full-time position with flexible working hours. * Attractive remuneration package commensurate with qualifications. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Procurement planning and strategy: * Define and implement the **PROCUREMENT** **STRATEGY** for **ELECTRONIC** **COMPONENTS**, **EQUIPMENT**, and technical services. * Prepare **PURCHASE** **BUDGETS** and monitor **VARIANCES**. * Supplier management: * Identify, evaluate, and **QUALIFY** domestic and international suppliers. * **NEGOTIATE** **PRICES**, commercial terms, **CONTRACTS**, and framework agreements. * Monitor supplier performance (**COST**, **QUALITY**, and delivery **TIMELINES**). * Technical analysis of **PRODUCTS**: * Review **TECHNICAL** **SPECIFICATIONS** for electronic components (**SEMICONDUCTORS**, **BOARDS**, **CONNECTORS**, **POWER SUPPLIES**, etc.). * Review requirements for **MECHANICAL** **PARTS**: * **COORDINATE** with **ENGINEERING** and **PRODUCTION** departments on technical **VALIDATION** of materials. * Identify technical alternatives in response to **OBSOLESCENCE** or supply **ISSUES**. * Monitor **STOCK** levels and ensure supply continuity. * Align procurement activities with production planning and **DEMAND** forecasts. * Manage urgent or critical purchases. * Cost optimization: * Analyze **MARKET** trends and **PRICE** fluctuations. * Implement cost-reduction strategies without compromising **QUALITY**. * Assess **RISKS** across the supply chain. * Administrative and contractual management: * Oversee **PURCHASE** **ORDERS** and contractual compliance. * Coordinate with **LOGISTICS** on import/export matters and documentation. * Ensure compliance with industry **REGULATIONS** and **STANDARDS**. * **LEADERSHIP** and internal coordination: * Lead and develop the **PROCUREMENT** **TEAM**. * Coordinate with departments including **ENGINEERING**, **PRODUCTION**, **QUALITY**, and **FINANCE**. * Prepare management **REPORTS** for senior leadership. REQUIREMENTS * Highly desirable: education in **ELECTRONICS**, **ELECTRICITY**, **AUTOMATION**, or related fields; **TECHNICAL** or **UNIVERSITY-LEVEL** **ENGINEERING** degree in Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or Telecommunications, or equivalent. * Minimum **5 years** of relevant professional experience. * **ADVANCED** level of **ENGLISH**. * Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle. * Residence in Vigo or nearby area, and/or willingness to relocate to the region.
