️️ Lumon Group is looking for a Process Engineer for our factory located in Antequera (Málaga).
As a Process Engineer, you will develop, standardize, and improve production processes to enhance safety, quality, delivery reliability, productivity, and profitability. You will provide technical and methodological support to the factory and to operational excellence initiatives.
Your key responsibilities include:
* **Process and Production Development:** Develop, analyze, and optimize processes using Lean and data-driven methods; identify inefficiencies, waste, quality losses, and bottlenecks; propose and implement improvements. Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean projects) and standardize methods, parameters, and best practices.
* **️ Operational Support:** Support daily production in problem resolution (root cause analysis and corrective actions). Act as technical support for production, planning, quality, maintenance, and logistics. Participate in the commissioning of new equipment or variants and in change management related to process or facility modifications.
* **Quality, Safety, and Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Maintain work instructions and process documentation. Participate in audits and follow-ups. Data and KPI Management: define, monitor, and analyze performance, waste, Cp/Cpk, on-time delivery, and productivity, and communicate results to management.
**What qualifications do you need?**
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Production, Industrial, Mechanical, Automation, or similar).
* Lean/Six Sigma certification (e.g., Green Belt) is desirable.
* 2–5 years of professional experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or production development within industrial or factory environments.
* Language skills: minimum English level B2.
* Technical and professional competencies: solid knowledge of manufacturing and production processes. Ability to analyze data and KPIs. Knowledge of Lean and problem-solving techniques (5 Whys, Fishbone, PDCA, DMAIC), ERP systems, and fundamentals of IT and data analysis.
