We are currently looking to **hire** a **Building Structural Engineer** in **Madrid**, who shares our commitment to **quality, responsibility, and excellent service.** **Key Responsibilities:** * Structural design and calculation of residential, commercial, industrial, and public buildings. * On-site technical advisory, resolving structural queries and supporting construction decisions. * Proposing technical solutions and alternative optimization measures to reduce costs and timelines during both construction and tender phases. * Reviewing and supervising designs prepared by external engineering firms, and preparing improvement proposals. * Developing structural connections, calculation models, and complete structural element design. **We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and competencies:** * Degree in Building Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering, etc. * Minimum 5 years of experience in building structural design, gained either in engineering firms, construction companies, or specialized structural design studios. * Solid knowledge of: + Structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, CypeCAD, CYPE 3D, ETABS, RFEM, Robot or similar) + Drafting software (AutoCAD, Revit is desirable) * Proficiency in: + Reinforced concrete structural design (slabs, beams, columns, walls, foundations). + Post-tensioned/prestressed structural design (post-tensioned slabs, beams). + Steel structural design (connections, global stability, frames, trusses). + Composite structural design (desirable). + Modeling and design of special foundations (diaphragm walls, piles, micropiles). + Rehabilitation, strengthening, and extension of existing structures (concrete and steel). + Construction process analysis: concrete pouring stages, sequences, shoring, and reshoring. + Regulations: CTE, EHE\-08, Eurocodes, seismic regulations. + Seismic design and advanced modeling.
