




Position Summary: Electrical Reliability Engineer for continuous improvement, data analysis, development of maintenance strategies, systems management, and technical support. Key Highlights: 1. Collaboration in process improvement and safety (PSM) projects. ArcelorMittal is seeking an Electrical Reliability Engineer for its Coke Battery facilities in Gijón. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** 1\. Reliability strategy and analysis * Ensure continuous reliability improvement. * Monitor and improve maintenance plan indicators. * Analyze available equipment data, reviewing deficiencies identified during corrective or preventive maintenance, and determine whether Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of a failure and/or proactive reliability improvement analyses are required. * Develop and optimize maintenance strategies. Define asset criticality and select the appropriate maintenance type using relevant techniques (FMEA, MTA, RCM, etc.), ensuring consistency of the plant’s maintenance plan. 2\. Systems and documentation management. * Responsible for implementing the maintenance plan in the CMMS (SAP) via route sheets, maintenance plans, counters, measurement points, etc. * Ensure the quality of technical documentation and equipment data within the CMMS. * Manage the surveillance plan for control instruments: define which equipment requires calibration, as well as the corresponding calibration actions and tolerances. * Review and validate energy isolation procedures. 3\. Technical support and operations * Guide the development of standards and procedures for key maintenance tasks, considering legal, safety, environmental, and other requirements. Promote standardization of work practices and equipment. * Collaborate in defining spare parts and stock parameters, including repairable spares. * Define maintenance contracts in accordance with plant policy and in coordination with the Procurement Department: specify technical requirements, evaluate alternatives, and participate in final decision-making. 4\. Projects and continuous improvement * Participate in various improvement projects carried out at the plant. * Collaborate with the R\+D Department to implement condition-based maintenance on critical equipment. 5\. Process Safety Management (PSM) * Actively collaborate in the development and implementation of the Process Safety Management (PSM) system, especially regarding Management of Change (MOC), Mechanical Integrity (*Asset Integrity*), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), and Process Safety Information (PSI). **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Education, experience, languages, etc.):** * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, with specialization in electrical/electronic engineering. * Ability to communicate fluently in English (B2 level). * Occupational Health and Safety training desirable. * Training or knowledge in *Process Safety Management* desirable. * Experience in electrical equipment installation, manufacturing processes, and monitoring of quality requirements. * Seeking an autonomous and proactive individual with organizational skills, oriented toward continuous improvement, and capable of delivering training. * Proficiency in office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). * Knowledge of SAP. * Experience in team management will be valued. * Valid work and residence permit in Spain.
