Set up accurate accounts based on each guest’s requirements. Enter Marriott Bonvoy information. Ensure rates match market codes and document exceptions. Verify payment prior to issuing room keys and review\/adjust charges. Compile, review, and verify daily reports, logs, and contingency lists. Prepare cashier and closing reports. Provide guests with directions and hotel information. Respond to guest requests and contact appropriate staff as needed. Follow up to ensure requests are fulfilled. Process all payment types, receipts, withdrawals, and charges. Reconcile receipt balances. Count and secure the bank at the beginning and end of each shift. Obtain manual approvals and comply with all accounting procedures. Notify Loss Prevention\/Security if guests report theft. Assist management in employee training, evaluation, counseling, motivation, and coaching; serve as a role model for fair treatment and the Open Door Policy process, acting as the first point of contact. Build and maintain positive interpersonal relationships, supporting the team in achieving common goals. Adhere to company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and hazardous work conditions to managers; complete safety training and certification; maintain clean and professional appearance; safeguard confidential information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge guests; anticipate and address guest service needs; assist guests with disabilities; sincerely thank guests. Communicate clearly and professionally, prepare and proofread written materials accurately and thoroughly, and answer telephone calls with proper etiquette. Ensure adherence to quality standards. Input and retrieve information using computer\/POS systems. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
