Meat Industry Worker

Company
Description
Job Summary: We are seeking personnel to provide operational support in logistics at a meat processing plant, handling goods in a controlled cold environment and complying with food safety protocols. Key Points: 1. Handling goods in a controlled cold environment. 2. Loading, unloading, and return management tasks. 3. Teamwork in the meat or food industry. We are seeking personnel to provide operational support in logistics within a pork processing plant located in Guissona. Tasks are carried out in a controlled cold environment, handling goods from receipt through to dispatch, while adhering to food safety protocols. Daily activities include vehicle loading and unloading, transporting pork carcasses using an electric pallet truck, and managing returns: receiving, inspecting, sorting, and storing in the refrigerated warehouse. Physical stamina is required to work in a cold environment; attention to detail is essential for accurate sorting and recording; and the ability to follow operational procedures is mandatory. Prior experience in logistics warehouses or the meat or food industry is essential, as is a willingness to work collaboratively in a team. A minimum of one year’s experience in related positions is required, such as warehouse loading and unloading, goods handling, or preferably within the meat industry. It is essential to possess the physical capability and willingness to work continuously in an environment maintained at a controlled temperature between 0 and 8 degrees Celsius. Experience operating an electric pallet truck will be considered a positive advantage. Full availability to work rotating shifts—including morning, afternoon, and night shifts—is required. Although not an exclusive requirement, residing in Guissona or nearby localities will be viewed favorably.
