




Job Summary: We are seeking a responsible Maintenance Engineer to ensure the proper operation of facilities and machinery, managing resources and proposing improvements. Key Highlights: 1. For new projects in the Industrial Sector, we require a **Maintenance Engineer**, reporting to the Maintenance Manager, based in Burgos. **Mission** We seek a responsible individual to ensure the proper operation and maintenance of company facilities, machines, etc. **Responsibilities** Daily * Organize assigned resources (equipment, personnel, etc.) according to initial forecasts. * Manage resource assignments, tasks, work orders, etc. in CMMS software and analyze data to propose improvement actions and increase company productivity. * Supervise and, occasionally, perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial facilities under the Maintenance Department’s responsibility (compressed air, electrical systems, natural gas, machinery, overhead cranes, alarms, etc.). * Manage the Maintenance Department’s warehouse (minimum and maximum stock levels, request quotations, place orders, conduct inventory, etc.). * Monitor and inspect aerothermic systems and the plant cleaning service. * Ensure plant safety and compliance with the correct use and application of PPE, lifting equipment, etc., supported by the Occupational Health and Safety Department. Periodically * Support new projects related to facility expansion, improvement, and/or modification; if responsible for executing part or all of such projects, manage them accordingly. * Prepare documentation related to the Maintenance Department (equipment, facilities, buildings, etc.), with support from other departments. * Supervise and, occasionally, perform periodic preventive maintenance on industrial facilities under the Maintenance Department’s responsibility (fire protection systems, etc.). * Request quotations from suppliers of materials, tools, services, etc. * Manage internal projects with the Installation/OT/Manufacturing Departments. * Manage and supervise external contractors. Occasionally * Collaborate on or draft the annual preventive maintenance plan. **Requirements** * Degree in Industrial Engineering (Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial, etc.) * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a maintenance department, preferably within the capital goods industry * Operation of forklifts, aerial work platforms, ladders, etc. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Tools, equipment, and documentation required for the role: + Specific software (CMMS for machinery or facilities) + Various tools and measuring instruments + Specific documentation: project regulations, plant regulations, machinery regulations + Work outdoors, at height, or with medium- and high-voltage systems * Knowledge of the food or pharmaceutical industry will be valued. **Competencies and Skills** * We seek a proactive individual capable of decision-making and taking initiative to resolve problems effectively and with quality. * Able to communicate effectively across multiple departments. * Capable of performing planning activities. * We seek a motivated individual. **Languages** * English B2 level, with ability to hold meetings with clients or suppliers. **Work Location** * Burgos, on-site. **Offer** * Immediate incorporation. * Indefinite-term project, initially outsourced for one year, followed by integration into a major company in the sector. * Salary commensurate with experience provided. * Indefinite-term contract.
