Would you like to work in a multidisciplinary environment within a leading multinational transportation company? **We’re expanding our team at DHL Freight Spain!** At DHL Freight Spain, we are looking for an **Import Specialist (M/F)** for our Coslada (Madrid) center to support the development and administration of import plans and processes, ensuring preparation and approval of documentation through relevant authorities, and guiding and advising customers on import operations and regulations in alignment with business strategy and objectives, as well as corporate guidelines and policies. **What are we looking for?** * Degree, Bachelor’s, FPI or FPII qualification in a related field. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in the sector in a similar position, preferably within a freight forwarding company. * Intermediate English level (B2) * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite * Ability to work collaboratively and under pressure **Responsibilities and Duties:** * Support the administration of import plans and processes to optimize service and performance * Execute transactional operational activities related to imports, in compliance with regulations and internal procedures. * Perform import entries and support operational activities according to internal procedures and latest local customs regulations. * Calculate duties, price conversions, weight, and volume of goods imported from/to foreign destinations * Process, handle, distribute, and archive all required import documentation * Verify invoices and shipping documents to improve compliance with federal regulations * Review entries to ensure customer requirements are met and suggest routine corrective actions in case of deviations * Ensure export, import, and gateway operations comply with business guidelines and meet established expectations * Perform IT system-related tasks to provide up-to-date shipment information. * Collaborate with internal functions such as Customer Service, Product, Sales, etc. * Coordinate with overseas offices to verify and confirm shipment information * Identify and resolve recurring issues and propose modifications to import/export working methods, focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency. **We Offer:** * Permanent contract * Health insurance (50% subsidized by the company for employees and family members) * Company stock plan with discounts for employees * DHL discount club * Fresh fruit in the office **Don’t hesitate—this is your opportunity!**
