We are looking for a responsible person to staff the counter of a tobacco shop in Alicante. Main duties include selling tobacco products, consumables, food and beverages, as well as operating the State Lottery and Betting terminal. You will also handle cash register transactions, manage the POS system, and process card or mobile payments, ensuring daily reconciliation. Stock control, receiving orders, restocking shelves and refrigerators, and checking product expiration dates are also required. Additionally, you must maintain order and cleanliness at the point of sale and comply with current regulations, including verifying customers' age for the sale of tobacco, alcohol, and lottery tickets. Proven experience in tobacco shops, lottery agencies, or high-traffic retail environments—such as supermarkets or convenience stores—is required. Full availability to work rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday, respecting legally mandated rest periods, is essential. You must possess mental agility and proficiency with computer tools, as well as physical capability to handle merchandise restocking. We seek an honest individual with strong communication skills and a clear customer-oriented mindset. This is a permanent part-time position with a salary of €8550.
