We are currently seeking to welcome a Bar Assistant to our team at Hotel Colonial Mar, specifically for the bar area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company and advance your professional career in the hospitality sector. **Main Responsibilities:** * Assist the lead bartender/waiter in serving beverages and other products at the bar. * Set up and clear tables and the bar before and after service, ensuring proper presentation. * Transport and serve orders efficiently and safely using a tray. * Attend to customers courteously and professionally, addressing their questions and requests. * Maintain cleanliness and order in the bar area, guest zones, and service areas. * Support mise en place and preparation of the bar’s offerings. * Manage restocking of tableware, glassware, cutlery, and other service essentials. * Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards at all times. * Collaborate with front-of-house and kitchen teams to guarantee smooth and satisfying guest experiences. * Perform cleaning tasks for glassware and tableware. REQUIREMENTS **Requirements:** * **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience as a bar assistant or in similar roles within the hospitality industry, preferably in hotels and/or bars. * **Languages:** Fluent English (mandatory). * **Skills:** * Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in high-demand environments. * Proficiency in tray handling and customer service. * Basic knowledge of mixology and beverage service. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Proactive, responsible attitude with strong attention to detail. * Strong commitment to hygiene and cleanliness. * **Preferred:** Prior experience in the hotel sector, specifically in dining rooms and bars. * **Competencies:** Teamwork, customer orientation, adaptability, organization.
