




Job Summary: Strapping machine operator responsible for securing and fastening loads, managing material flow, receiving, processing, and quality control of products. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate strapping machines and manage material flow. 2. Participate in receiving, processing, and quality control. 3. Work in an industrial environment with rotating shifts. We are seeking a strapping machine operator to work at the Port of Tarragona under a temporary contract of at least six months. The role is based in an industrial setting, where the primary task is operating these machines to secure and fasten loads and materials. Additional responsibilities include supporting other tasks related to internal material flow. Responsibilities include receiving raw materials, verifying their arrival, identification, and transfer to production plants. There, machinery is operated to process or assemble products, following established procedures while pursuing efficiency. Quality control is critical, involving periodic inspections to ensure products meet technical standards. Tasks conclude with packaging and preparing finished products, organizing them for distribution. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with rotating morning, afternoon, and night shifts, adapting to port operational needs. A minimum of one year’s experience as a strapping machine operator in an industrial environment is required. A valid and current forklift operator license is considered a strong advantage. Immediate availability to start the position is mandatory.
