We are looking for a Data Engineer, in this role you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining MultiSafepay's data infrastructure. Your primary focus will be ensuring that high\-quality, scalable, and well\-structured data is available to various teams within the organization. You will play a crucial role in optimising data processes, managing databases, and setting up efficient data pipelines for seamless data accessibility. Our engineering teams apply Domain\-Driven Design (DDD) principles and microservices architecture to build scalable and maintainable systems. **What will you be doing?** * Maintaining, and optimising databases, data warehouses, and ElasticSearch indexes * Designing and implementing scalable data pipelines for collecting, transforming, and storing data * Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards * Automating data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes * Working closely with data analysts, ensuring they have well\-structured and accurate data for reporting * Monitoring database performance, resolving bottlenecks and inefficiencies **What do you need?** * 5\+ years experience in data engineering or related fields * Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL \& working knowledge of ElasticSearch * Java programming knowledge * A strong understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline architecture * Excellent problem\-solving skills and the ability to optimize data performance * Proficiency in English, with strong communication skills **What you’ll get from us:** * A competitive salary package * Opportunities for professional growth * A diverse role within a dedicated international team of enthusiastic colleagues * Health insurance * Free Spanish classes and afterwork sports activities
