Position Summary: We are seeking a Microsoft Analyst Programmer to evolve and maintain mission-critical applications in Microsoft environments, valuing expertise and quality. Key Highlights: 1. Development and evolution of mission-critical applications using Visual Basic and .NET. 2. Resolution of complex problems and enhancement of existing applications. 3. A collaborative culture where good ideas carry weight. **We are looking for someone who still understands Visual Basic.** And no, it is not an urban legend. While half the industry chases the latest trendy technology, systems continue operating daily—delivering services and sustaining critical processes—thanks to professionals who perfectly understand how to evolve them without breaking what already works. * Because modernization does not always mean starting from scratch. Sometimes it means understanding the past, mastering the present, and building the future line by line. If you enjoy solving complex problems, improving existing applications, and developing robust solutions in Microsoft environments, this opportunity may interest you. **Who Are We?** * At PROCESIA, we work on technology projects with real-world impact, participating in strategic initiatives where stability, quality, and continuous evolution are as important as innovation. * We appreciate modern technology, but we also respect something fundamental: knowledge. Because behind every mission-critical application lie years of work, business processes, and users who depend on everything continuing to function. That is why **we seek professionals capable of contributing technical judgment, a quality-oriented vision, and the ability to intelligently evolve solutions.** **What Do We Need?** We are looking for a Microsoft Analyst Programmer who feels equally comfortable developing new features and understanding existing systems. Someone who analyzes before programming and programs while considering the person who will maintain the code years from now, with: * Degree in Computer Science, Higher Technical Diploma in Computer Science, or equivalent qualification (MECES Levels 1 or 2\). * Minimum 5 years’ experience in analysis, design, and development of applications based on Microsoft technologies. * Solid knowledge and proven experience in Visual Basic and .NET. * Experience participating in the full software development lifecycle. We would love to meet you if you also enjoy finding elegant solutions to complex problems and believe that thorough analysis saves hundreds of lines of code. **What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?** Your mission will be to contribute to the development, evolution, and maintenance of mission-critical applications within Microsoft environments. Among other responsibilities: Analyze functional requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions. Design and develop applications using Visual Basic and .NET technologies. Maintain and evolve existing systems, ensuring their stability and performance. Manage assigned incidents and service requests. Prepare technical documentation associated with developments. Design and execute unit and functional tests. Participate in user acceptance testing alongside end users and functional teams. Collaborate in integration and deployment processes across different environments. Propose improvements to optimize application quality, maintainability, and performance. In short: you will write code, solve problems, improve systems, and prevent anyone from ever saying again, "If it works, better not touch it." **What Do We Offer?** At PROCESIA, we believe talent needs space to grow. That’s why we offer: Joining a stable, long-term project within an established technology organization. Economic conditions will be communicated during the first interview. Permanent contract from day one. Hybrid work model with flexibility and autonomy to organize your work. Flexible working hours and tangible work-life balance measures. Continuous training, access to certifications, and company-funded English classes. A personalized professional development plan aligned with your goals. Comprehensive health insurance with no co-payments. Shorter working hours every Friday and throughout the summer months. A collaborative, approachable, and participatory culture where good ideas carry more weight than seniority. Coffee and tea always available to accompany analysis sessions, complex development tasks, or debates over whether an incident is truly an incident. Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve off to enjoy with whomever you choose.
