Bridgestone and its subsidiaries develop, manufacture and market a wide range of Bridgestone, Firestone and associate brand products and solutions to address the needs of a broad range of customers and industries. **ABOUT THE ROLE** ------------------ **Mission:** Reduce manufacturing process losses by eliminating machine defects, minimizing the number and duration of equipment failures, and generating improvement proposals aimed at preventing recurrence. Perform preventive and predictive activities on the factory’s production equipment. **KPIs** * Analysis, repair, and reporting of equipment failures (BDE) * Compliance with work procedures and standards (SEQ) * Execution of preventive/predictive inspection tasks (MPS) * Analysis and implementation of improvement proposals (CM) **Profile**: The ideal candidate will have: * Higher vocational training diploma / FP2 in mechanical-electromechanical field * 5 years of experience in diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of machinery and/or general installations * Mandatory experience in mechanical equipment alignment and adjustment * Advanced knowledge of industrial pneumatics and hydraulics; ability to interpret mechanical drawings and pneumatic/hydraulic schematics * Knowledge of machine safety standards * Electrical fault diagnosis, motor wiring, sensor wiring, and low-complexity circuit wiring * Welding knowledge is desirable * English language proficiency and usage will be valued to foster development opportunities **Competencies:** * Agility * Courage * Sense of belonging * Problem solving * Planning and organization * Promotion of collaboration within multidisciplinary teams, both internally and externally * Ability to train other team members * Decision-making capability during equipment commissioning **WHAT WE OFFER** ----------------- At Bridgestone, what really matters is to foster co-creation opportunities and empower you to be creative and curious to make mobility safer, more efficient, and more sustainable for future generations.
