Job Summary: We are seeking a Process and Continuous Improvement Engineer to design and optimize production, logistics, and supply chain processes within precision mechanical manufacturing for medical devices. Key Highlights: 1. Design and optimize production and logistics processes. 2. Apply Lean methodologies such as Kaizen and 5S. 3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage projects. This position is located in Barberà del Vallès and is for a Process and Continuous Improvement Engineer within the precision mechanical manufacturing sector focused on medical devices. The primary responsibility is to design, optimize, and continuously improve production, logistics, and supply chain processes. The role aims to enhance operational efficiency, ensure quality, and implement ongoing plant-level improvements through an analytical and strategic perspective that enables workflow redesign to maximize productivity and reduce costs. Responsibilities include analyzing production and logistics processes to identify improvement opportunities in efficiency, quality, and cost; participating in industrialization and plant commissioning projects; conducting technical and economic feasibility studies; defining required resources and capacities; applying Lean methodologies such as Kaizen and 5S; performing root cause analysis to resolve incidents; monitoring key performance indicators; and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The work environment requires strict adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards. Experience in regulated environments and knowledge of ERP systems are highly valued. This role involves continuous coordination with production, engineering, maintenance, procurement, and logistics departments. A degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree in Industrial Processes or Industrial Design is considered advantageous. Prior experience in precision mechanical manufacturing industrial environments is essential. Solid knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies and an advanced level of Excel proficiency are required. Experience with ERP systems—particularly MS Dynamics—is considered a plus. Experience in regulated environments is highly desirable. Required languages are Spanish, Catalan, and English, with professional-level English proficiency.
