Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for cooking to support dish preparation and cooking, plating, and sauce creation, while maintaining cleanliness and order. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes using basic techniques. 2. Collaborate in creating sauces and side dishes to enhance flavor. 3. Promote a safe and functional environment through strict order and cleanliness. We are looking for a candidate with formal training and enthusiasm for the culinary field to join our team in Salamanca. Your main responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation and cooking of various dishes, applying basic food handling techniques to ensure maximum quality and safety. You will play a key role in plating, ensuring that each dish not only delivers exceptional taste but also features impeccable presentation. Additionally, your collaboration will be essential in developing sauces and other accompaniments that enhance the flavor of our preparations. It is critical to maintain strict order and cleanliness in your workspace to foster a safe and functional environment. Prior experience in similar roles, as well as having a personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license for greater mobility, will be considered advantageous. Flexibility in working hours is required to accommodate varying service needs. A Higher Vocational Training Certificate in Cooking and Restaurant Services (or equivalent) is highly desirable, along with at least two years of proven experience in the sector. We seek a proactive, team-oriented individual with a dynamic attitude to meet the daily challenges of a professional kitchen. Vocational Training in Cooking and Restaurant Services (Higher Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent). Minimum 2 years’ experience as a kitchen assistant. Personal vehicle and valid driver’s license. Flexible working hours to adapt to variable shifts. Availability for immediate start.
