Description
The Forklift Operator position focuses on essential loading and unloading operations within the logistics environment, using specialized machinery such as counterbalanced forklifts and pallet jacks. Key responsibilities include the safe handling of goods, their transportation within warehouse facilities, and accurate placement of cargo in designated areas to optimize space and facilitate inventory management. This role is critical to maintaining supply chain fluidity, ensuring products move efficiently from receiving docks to storage or order-picking areas.
In addition to core material-handling tasks, the position requires supporting other logistics-sector activities as needed. This may involve picking, basic packaging, label verification, or assisting with general warehouse organization. Work is performed on a structured schedule and is vital to meeting delivery deadlines and team operational goals, directly contributing to workplace productivity and order.
The work environment is dynamic, and precision, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to coordinate effectively with other team members are highly valued. The offered contract is temporary, with a future possibility of permanent integration into the company’s workforce based on performance and business needs. Working hours are Monday through Friday, afternoon shift, specifically from 13:30 to 20:30.
A valid and up-to-date counterbalanced forklift operator license is required. A minimum of one year’s demonstrable experience in a similar role within the logistics or warehousing sector, routinely operating this type of machinery, is mandatory.
