️ Join our Systems Engineering team!
We are seeking a Chief Engineer to technically lead the HSPN program, assuming global responsibility for the project’s technical decisions and ensuring the balance among performance, cost, risk, schedule, and industrialization throughout the system’s entire lifecycle.
**Location:** Torrejón de Ardoz
What will you do?
* Technically lead the program, serving as the highest engineering authority and primary technical reference for clients, partners, and internal teams.
* Define, integrate, and evolve the system architecture and its main subsystems.
* Coordinate multidisciplinary teams in a matrix environment, fostering collaboration among Program, Engineering, Production, Quality, Procurement, and ISS.
* Ensure proper management and traceability of technical, regulatory, certification, and safety requirements.
* Lead technical reviews, configuration management, change control, and resolution of critical incidents.
* Manage technical risks by defining mitigation plans and ensuring technological and industrial maturity of solutions.
* Define technical milestones, deliverables, and program acceptance criteria.
* Actively participate in technical planning and project monitoring.
* Represent the program’s technical position before clients, certification bodies, strategic suppliers, and partners.
* Ensure correct integration of hardware, software, embedded systems, and industrialization technologies.
What are we looking for in you?
**✅ Education:**
Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
**✅ Minimum Experience:**
Proven experience performing technical leadership roles in complex engineering programs, preferably within Defense or critical systems domains.
**✅ Technical Knowledge:**
* Systems engineering and architecture of complex systems.
* Integration of multidisciplinary systems.
* Product lifecycle management.
* Requirements management and technical traceability.
* Configuration management and change control.
* Technical risk management.
* Hardware, software, and embedded systems.
* Validation, verification, and acceptance of complex systems.
**✅ Valuable Functional Knowledge:**
* Defense systems development programs.
* Technical review and certification processes.
* Planning and execution of complex programs.
* Engagement with institutional clients and certification bodies.
* Aviation regulations, methodologies, and standards (e.g., DO\-178, DO\-254, ARP4754, or similar).
* Industrialization and production processes.
