Job Summary: We are seeking a responsible, organized, and proactive waiter/waitress to serve guests, manage orders, and ensure customer satisfaction in a hotel environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Customer and guest service with a focus on satisfaction 2. Order management, recommendations, and effective communication with the kitchen 3. Maintaining order and cleanliness in the restaurant and bar dining area We are a hotel group located on the Costa Brava and are currently hiring waiters/waitresses for two of our hotels in Sant Feliu de Guíxols. We are looking for a responsible and organized individual who is communicative and strives for continuous self-improvement. Main responsibilities include: * Maintaining the restaurant and bar dining area in perfect order and cleanliness. * Serving guests and customers, greeting them at the restaurant entrance. * Presenting the gastronomic offerings from the menu and making recommendations tailored to the customer’s profile. * Taking orders accurately, noting special requests and details. * Maintaining effective communication with the kitchen to ensure appropriate service pace, as well as proper cleaning and hygiene of equipment. * Serving dishes and beverages. * Addressing potential complaints and offering appropriate solutions. * Clearing tables immediately after each service. * Reporting any issues, complaints, or incidents occurring during service to the direct supervisor. * Anticipating customer needs and providing services before they are requested. * Other duties required for the position. Requirements: * Compulsory Secondary Education or equivalent. * Foreign language skills are valued. * Residence near the workplace is an advantage. * Flexible working hours. * Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle. Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week on rotating shifts, with rest periods established by law. Employment Type: Full-time Work Location: On-site employment
