




Position Summary: Responsible for defining the Transportation Procurement Policy, ensuring alignment with Company objectives and negotiating agreements with suppliers. Key Highlights: 1. Collaboration in the design of logistics solutions Role Purpose: Together with the Procurement Area Manager, responsible for defining the Organization's Transportation Procurement Policy to ensure achievement of the Company’s transportation objectives in line with the Company’s overall strategy. Main Accountabilities:* Assist in defining the supplier policy: types of suppliers to engage by geographic region, business segment, and transport mode (Refrigerated, Ambient, ADR, Last Mile), as well as collaboration models (Dedicated Trucks\-CT, Round Trip, One-way Trips). This involves structuring flows with the most suitable partners in terms of cost, service capacity, and ability to integrate into DHL processes (Track \& Trace, Information and Connectivity, Billing, Document Management, Service Level Agreements regarding availability and punctuality, Safety Standards, Insurance, etc.). * Negotiate and sign medium- and long-term agreements and commitments with suppliers. * Ensure supplier agreement compliance and service level delivery to customers \- Collaborate in designing collaborative solutions per flow: analyze volumes per flow and explore alternative supplier types and models. Identify the optimal mix per flow: Dedicated Vehicles\- CT, One-way contracts, Closed-loop circuits with full visibility into the Company’s flow operations.* Ensure profitability per flow with each customer. Guarantee that costs per flow are aligned with market benchmarks (e.g., tenders won or pricing levels at which business is lost due to failure to meet customers’ target price). * Manage relationships with each partner under a QBR model, KPI tracking, volume planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. Seek flexibility mechanisms. * Collaborate with Operations, Key Account Managers (KAMs), and Business Development Managers in developing commercial proposals, specifically regarding transportation cost benchmarks. * Contribute to communication and implementation of procedures and processes arising from the Environmental Management and Energy Efficiency Integrated Management System. * Support achievement of MA objectives in accordance with organizational policies and guidelines.
