(CNIC) was established to conduct world-class, competitive, and internationally relevant research on cardiovascular diseases. The CNIC operates a 24,000 m² research facility located in Madrid, of which over 6,000 m² are dedicated to laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and equipment. A Procurement Technician position is open for substitution. **Responsibilities:** * Material registration. * Request for quotations. * Publication of materials on the CNIC website. * Processing purchase orders with suppliers. * Monitoring delivery timelines for orders. * Resolving order-related incidents (product changes, goods returns, order cancellations). * Administrative tasks for the department: computerized maintenance of various files. * Warehouse support. * Accounting department support. **Mandatory Requirements:** * University degrees (Bachelor’s/Degree), medium-level university graduates, Higher Vocational Training qualifications, equivalent professional certification, or Upper Secondary Education qualification in economics, business administration, ADE (Business Administration and Management), or related fields. * At least six months of experience in administrative positions. (Two months for persons with a disability exceeding 66% and four months for persons with a disability exceeding 33%) Positive action: a corrective factor of 1.5 per year of experience will be applied during the evaluation of years of experience for criteria where experience is assessed, if the candidate certifies a disability exceeding 66%; and a factor of 1.2 if the candidate certifies a disability exceeding 30%. **Desirable Requirements:** * C1. Generalist experience in procurement services. * C2. Specific experience in procurement services for biomedical research centers. * C3. Minimum English proficiency level B1. * C4. Knowledge and experience with SAP. * C5. Resolution dated 04 June 2025 (Additional Provision Twenty-Second of Law 31/2022, of 23 December, on the General State Budget for 2023\), provided the selected candidate fulfills all legal requirements for formalizing the employment contract under applicable law. The position may be filled via an interim contract until the selection process concludes. **Selection Process:** The RESOLUTION OF THE SECRETARIAT OF STATE FOR THE CIVIL SERVICE APPROVING COMMON OPERATIONAL CRITERIA IN THE SELECTION PROCESSES OF ENTITIES IN THE STATE PUBLIC SECTOR, dated 11 April 2022, states in point 6.1 that “Unless specific legislation provides for a competition-based selection system, the selection system shall be competitive examination.” In the case of CNIC, the specific regulation approved by the Foundation’s Board establishes a competition-based selection system with an interview phase. Personal interviews will be conducted for at least the top three candidates achieving the highest scores, provided their combined score across the assessable criteria (C1–C4) reaches at least 50 points.
