Would you like to join our team? **\#ThePlaceToBe** We are seeking a **Construction Manager** for Madrid for hotel renovation projects. **Key Responsibilities** * Verify the construction progress of the project. * Support and complement the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) scope of the project. * Coordinate logistics for the renovation project of an occupied building during its various construction phases and with multiple contractors. * Maintain and guide coordination follow\-up with the building operator to ensure logistical coordination, security against intrusion\-theft (internal/external), and fire safety. * Verify that the project is executed in accordance with drawings and specifications. * Support and maintain direct contact with the Technical Supervision team. * Issue minutes of the Construction\-Works Coordination Meeting. * Approve construction sequences and methods with the planner. * Provide on\-site construction support to designers and/or architects. * Review construction change orders. * Support “Package Managers” in reviewing and enforcing package requirements with contractors. * Monitor contractor progress, both in production and scheduling. * Verify Quality Plans submitted by contractors and subcontractors. * Review operation and maintenance manuals. In addition, the candidate must participate in and contribute to the implemented Management System through knowledge and practical application of: * Compliance with Quality and Environmental policies. * Application of the Environmental Best Practices Manual. * Compliance with global SyS policies and standards. **Job Requirements** To succeed in this position, the following are essential: * **Experience:** Minimum **10 years** of solid experience in this role. Experience in the specific sectors of hotels and offices will be valued. Proficiency in Office 365, MS Project, and AutoCAD. * **Education:** Degree in Building Engineering, Technical Architecture, or Architecture. English language proficiency is desirable. * **Technical Competencies:** In\-depth knowledge and mastery of the role and its responsibilities, Health and Safety standards on site, and Sustainability standards. * **Personal Skills:** Strong coordination and planning capability.
