Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and the Office suite for document control The Silo Operator position in San Adrián (Navarra) involves managing the complete flow of raw materials and finished products within a storage facility. The primary responsibility is to ensure proper reception, storage, control, and dispatch of barley, malt, and by-products such as barley grits and pellets, using computer tools like SAP and Excel. Compliance with high standards of occupational safety, product quality, food safety, and environmental protection must be guaranteed. Daily duties include supervising barley reception and malt/by-product dispatch, recording all operations to maintain traceability. Equipment in the silo area—such as conveyor belts and elevators—must be checked for proper operation, and coordination with logistics and planning departments is required to manage incoming and outgoing shipments. **Additionally, the role includes document control:** preparing production reports, managing delivery notes and batch records, handling incidents, collecting samples, inspecting trucks, and applying seals. Strict adherence to occupational risk prevention regulations, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and implementation of food safety protocols such as HACCP are mandatory. Detecting malfunctions and collaborating with maintenance teams is also required. A vocational training qualification at intermediate level (FP Grado Medio) or enrollment in a university degree program is required. Advanced computer skills are essential, including proficiency in SAP, Excel, and the Office suite. A minimum of two years’ experience in similar roles within an industrial setting is required.
