We are currently looking for a Mid\-Level Pipeline Technical Director to join our growing team in Tenerife or remotely. Job Description The Pipeline Technical Director is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient production workflows and tools that support the creative and technical needs of our teams. Working closely with artists, supervisors, and the technical team, the Pipeline TD helps to ensure the stability, scalability, and usability of the studio’s production pipeline. This role involves scripting tools, automating tasks, solving pipeline\-related issues, and integrating third\-party software to optimize the studio’s workflows across departments. While prior experience in VFX or animation pipelines is a big plus, we welcome candidates from diverse technical backgrounds who are eager to contribute to a creative studio environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Python\-based tools and scripts that support production workflows across departments. * Collaborate with artists and leads to understand their needs and deliver intuitive, robust solutions. * Support the integration of third\-party software (e.g., DCC tools like Nuke, Houdini and Maya) into the production pipeline. * Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues in collaboration with the production and technical teams. * Write and maintain clear technical documentation. * Participate in pipeline planning and tool standardization as the studio evolves. * Contribute to web\-based tools and interfaces using technologies like JavaScript, HTML, and related frameworks. Required Skills and Qualifications 3\+ years experience * Proficient in Python with solid understanding of best practices in scripting and tool development. * Excellent written and spoken English — clear communication is a must in our international environment. * Experience with Deadline and troubleshooting farm errors * Previous experience in VFX, animation, or game development pipelines. * Previous experience with Ayon, OpenPype or Pyblish is a plus. * Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git * Basic understanding of Docker containers * Experience or interest in web technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, REST APIs). * Strong problem\-solving mindset and ability to translate user needs into practical solutions. * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic production environment. * Experience with Linux is a plus What We Offer Opportunity to help shape the technical foundation of a growing international studio.
