In this role, you will combine hands‑on AL/C‑AL development with process and business consulting, contributing to the design, build, and continuous evolution of a group‑wide Business Central solution used across multiple legal entities. You will work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure that business processes, master data models, security, and extensions are scalable, robust, and aligned with global standards. You will be part of a collaborative, international environment where your expertise will directly influence how the organization operates at scale. If you enjoy taking ownership, thinking beyond pure development, and building solutions that have real business impact across a global organization, this is the role for you. **Key tasks \& responsibilities:** Solution Design and Development Design and develop AL extensions (and maintain legacy C/AL where applicable) using Visual Studio Code, following group development standards, coding conventions, and secure\-by\-default practices. Implement features across BC standard modules (Finance Management, Sales, Purchase, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Projects) and tailor them via extensions while keeping the solution upgradable. Integrate and automate using Power Platform / Power Automate where appropriate (e.g., orchestration, notifications, approvals). Governance, Documentation \& Traceability Accept and apply Group guidelines in all solution components; maintain traceability by cross‑referencing ticket numbers / change requests in source code comments, commit messages, and deployment notes. Produce clear technical designs, test cases, deployment instructions, and user documentation; keep them current through release cycles. Master Data \& Core Drive strong process knowledge and master data management for customers, vendors, items (incl. variants), and analytic dimensions; align with the Core Template and the MDMS replication approach to ensure consistent, auditable master data across entities. Security \& Permissions Configure and validate security filters and permission sets; collaborate with admins to ensure role\-based access, segregation of duties, and compliant user provisioning across environments and scheduled updates. Consulting, Analysis \& Challenge Function Apply analytical skills to evaluate third‑party solutions and add‑ons; assess architecture, fit, risks, and TCO. Demonstrate a strategic mindset to validate assumptions and feasibility; challenge workflows to ensure ERP mapping aligns with group processes and reporting needs. Translate business requirements into end‑to‑end solutions that consider global/group impact across multiple entities. Planning, Risk \& Change Management Own technical planning with realistic timelines, risks, and mitigation strategies; manage dependencies and communicate trade‑offs. Prioritize critical change requests, drive grooming, and maintain transparent progress tracking through sprint ceremonies and SteCo/PMO touchpoints. Support sandbox test production release management in line with BC update cycles and enterprise deployment practices. Cross‑Functional Collaboration \& Communication Partner with Finance, Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Projects, and local entities to harmonize processes and data. Facilitate workshops, demos, and training; communicate clearly in English (fluent, oral and written) with stakeholders at all levels.
