The Makita cordless straight grinder DGD800Z offers optimal ease of use thanks to its long grinding spindle and small housing diameter. A removable plastic guard over the spindle housing serves as an additional handle. Without this guard, the DGD800Z can also be used in the drilling stand (clamp neck diameter: 43 mm). To prevent damage to the workpiece surface, the DGD800Z features a round clamping nut, thereby reducing the risk. A restart lock prevents inadvertent restart after battery replacement.
