The DEWALT XR FLEXVOLT tool range delivers performance for the most demanding applications—cordless! The innovative brushless motor technology of the DCG460N cordless angle grinder provides higher performance, more compact dimensions, longer runtime per battery charge, and extended service life. The Perform & Protect system comprises an electronic brake that reliably stops the disc within seconds, and an electronic clutch that automatically shuts off the tool in case of jamming, thereby protecting both the user and the machine. This combination of electronic clutch and brake minimizes kickback hazards even more effectively. The electronic soft start prevents abrupt tool startup. The heavy-duty LED indicator illuminates as a warning if excessive pressure is applied to the material. Wireless Tool Connect (WTC) is used to wirelessly connect to a vacuum cleaner (WTC-compatible) when using an appropriate dust-protection or guard cover with dust collection. The helical gear ensures long service life and generates only low vibrations; the cordless angle grinder DCG460N is also equipped with an additional vibration-dampening handle and two different guard covers for grinding and cutting tasks. By the way, the 54 V DEWALT XR FLEXVOLT Li-Ion batteries are backward compatible and can also be used in nearly all 18 V XR tools. The DCG460N cordless angle grinder is supplied as a bare tool (without batteries or charger) and is ideal for use with existing 54 V XR batteries.
