Description

This position involves providing comprehensive support within a metal fabrication and construction workshop environment. The employee will be responsible for assisting in a variety of essential operational tasks required for daily workflow. These tasks include preparation and organization of raw materials such as sheets, profiles, and tubes, as well as supporting the safe handling of common workshop machinery. A fundamental part of the role consists of participating in continuous learning activities, particularly in basic interpretation of technical drawings and fabrication blueprints, thereby contributing to a general understanding of production processes. The work environment is dynamic and focuses on manufacturing metal structures and components. Work takes place in an industrial setting where precision and safety are paramount. The position offers practical exposure to full work cycles, from material receipt through preparation stages to support during fabrication. Adaptability and the ability to follow instructions are encouraged in an environment characterized by constant team collaboration. This function is key to maintaining operational efficiency and supporting technicians and welders in their duties. Day-to-day responsibilities may vary, incorporating new tasks according to the workshop’s production demands. This role is designed for individuals seeking to consolidate a career in the industrial metal sector through hands-on experience. The initial contract is established for a period of three months through a Temporary Work Agency, with the possibility of subsequent direct incorporation into the contracting company’s permanent workforce. The offered salary is above the amount stipulated in the applicable metalworking collective agreement. There is an opportunity for professional development within the structure of an established corporate group. A medium- or higher-level Vocational Training qualification in fields such as Welding and Boiler Making, Metal Structures, or similar specialties is positively valued. At least one year of prior experience in an industrial workshop environment or in the metal sector is desirable; training internships completed at companies in this industry are also considered.
