**Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsa **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Empresa de Transformación Agraria, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., the parent company of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in work related to rural development and nature conservation, seeks to hire 1 Forestry Engineer \- Forestry Services in Las Rozas. **Workplace Location** -------------------- * Community of Madrid Address: Las Rozas de Madrid **Functions and Responsibilities** ---------------------- * Diverse collaboration within the Forest Fires Area: economic assessments, statistics, maps, reports, projects, cadastral plans of annual forest fires, etc. * Maintenance and administration of the Geodatabase (GDB) for the official forest fire statistics of the Community of Madrid. Integration with the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) statistics platform EgifWeb. * Collaboration in integrating forest fire applications and other online shared applications with other public administration bodies (Environment, Forest Rangers, etc.) and local entities (SAVER, MINCE, etc.), as well as with SITREM (Integrated Emergency Management System) of the Fire Department, to manage all needs arising from forest fire prevention and suppression. * Development and processing of cartography on forest fire prevention (preventive works, grazing, heavy machinery, infrastructure, etc.). * Management of the evolving development of the Atlantix platform as a manager of fire use and its export to ArcGIS. Management of the Burn GDB. * Analysis of satellite raster layers. Analysis of burn severity and dNBR for forest fires exceeding 5 ha that occurred in the Community of Madrid since 2022\. Management of brief and extended forest fire reports since 2024. * Study of visual basins of the Surveillance Network to optimize resources and assess suitability of observation posts. * Creation of operational symbology for deployment by CBBCM Fire Analyst personnel. * Development of a web application for emergency use in Google Earth, ArcGIS Online or similar. * Development and monitoring of cartography associated with PAMIF and PAIF implemented by the CM. * Creation of an Urban-Forest Interface GDB for emergency management and PAIF/PAMIF, as well as determination of the IGP. * Updating INFOMA regarding data corresponding to risk analysis, vulnerability, zoning, and danger periods. * Establishment of the forest fire detection and alarm network. * Forest fire risk assessment with continuous updating of necessary cartography to determine Potential Hazard Maps, Protection Importance Maps, and Suppression Difficulty Maps, enabling generation of the Forest Fire Risk Zoning Map of the Community of Madrid and identification of High Forest Fire Risk Zones (ZAR zones). * Preparation of forest fire statistics, drafting required fire incident reports in accordance with current regulations issued by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, as stipulated in Section C.5 of Royal Decree 1703/1984, dated 1 August, transferring to the Community of Madrid the State’s functions and services relating to Nature Conservation. * Collaboration with public entities and guidance to private entities in drafting Self-Protection Plans. * Participation in developing the Forest Fire Defense Plan of the Community of Madrid. * Planning and monitoring of necessary works to implement preventive measures outlined in the Forest Fire Defense Plan of the Community of Madrid. **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with requirements and/or merits must be substantiated through evaluation tests and/or by attaching required documentation in the “Annexes” section of the registration questionnaire.
