Technicians \- Forest Mapping (Madrid) **Vacancies Available** ---------------------- 2 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP specialized in engineering, consultancy, and technical assistance services in agricultural, livestock, forestry, and environmental fields, seeks to hire 2 Technicians to support a forest mapping project in the Community of Madrid. **Workplace** -------------------- * Community of Madrid **Functions and Tasks** ---------------------- * Performing photointerpretation tasks for forest health assessment and other forest-related photointerpretations. * GIS (ArcGIS or QGIS) operation. * Office suite operation. **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with requirements and/or merits must be substantiated by completing evaluation tests and/or attaching required documentation in the "Annexes" section of the registration questionnaire. The Tragsa Group reserves the right to request at any time during the process documentary evidence supporting the information provided in the application, as well as to require additional information from the candidate's CV, whenever necessary to verify the stated requirements and/or merits detailed in this job posting. ### **Education** #### **Qualifications** * Hold a Spanish Baccalaureate (BUP/COU), Vocational Training Level I (FP I) or Medium-Level Vocational Training Certificate (CFGM), Vocational Training Level II (FP II) or Higher-Level Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) (officially recognized in Spain), or have at least six months of academic and/or employment experience relevant to the position. **Merits (Evaluable)** ------------------------ ### **Education** #### **Additional Training** * At least 2,000 hours of training in Forest Management * At least 50 hours of training in Forest Health ### **Other Meritorious Factors** * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in GIS (to be verified during technical evaluation) * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Office suite (to be verified during technical evaluation) * At least three months of academic and/or employment experience in mapping projects * Eligibility to formalize a training contract for acquiring professional practice (for this, no more than three years may have elapsed since completion of the qualification, or five years if a disability certificate is provided; nor may a previous training contract linked to the same qualification have been signed for over six months). If a traineeship/training contract is formalized, the candidate’s qualification must be related to the duties of the position offered, and activities performed under the traineeship contract must be consistent with the qualification, enabling acquisition of professional practice appropriate to the candidate’s academic level. **Observations** ----------------- * Offer includes: + Fixed-term contract of approximately 6 months, with possible extension if applicable, respecting maximum duration limits established by current labor legislation for each contractual modality.
