At **Oxigent Technologies**, we are seeking **a Python Test Automation Engineer** to ensure the **quality of intelligent electronic devices**, applying the **Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL)** methodology.
What will be your main responsibilities?
* **Develop and maintain automated test software** for payment devices (Hardware\-in\-the\-Loop).
* **Interact with hardware and protocols** (SPI, I2C, UART) to detect and analyze failures.
* **Create and debug tools in Python and automation scripts.**
* **Work with Android** (AOSP), drivers, and Linux, interpreting electronic schematics.
* **Collaborate with manufacturing teams** to ensure device quality.
* **Apply clean code best practices** and independently solve problems.
What qualifications do you need?
* **At least 5 years of experience** developing with **Python and Pytest.**
* **Hardware knowledge:** understanding of electronic devices, schematics, and protocols such as **SPI, I2C, UART.**
* **Testing and automation:** experience in automated testing and hardware debugging.
* **Operating systems:** comfortable working in Linux and Windows; knowledge of Android/AOSP (drivers, HAL, factory images).
* **Embedded programming:** **basic** experience in C for microcontrollers (e.g., STM32\).
* **Languages: English level C1** (German or Spanish is a plus, but not mandatory).
