Job Summary: We are seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to manage, operate, and enhance critical IT infrastructures, collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to ensure stability and security. We seek to hire a specialized Linux Systems Administration professional to participate in the management, operation, and continuous improvement of critical IT infrastructures. The selected candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure service stability, security, and evolution, contributing advanced technical knowledge in server and virtualization environments. This position is based in Madrid under a hybrid work model, requiring some days working remotely from home and others on-site at the office, where you can build meaningful synergies with your team. Residency in Spain and valid Spanish work authorization are mandatory. Responsibilities: * Administer and maintain Linux servers (RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS), ensuring availability, performance, and security through continuous monitoring and patch application. * Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM or others), including VM provisioning, resource optimization, and incident resolution. * Implement infrastructure improvements via automation (Bash/Python scripting or tools such as Ansible). * Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and cybersecurity policies. Key Responsibilities: * Operate and maintain IT infrastructure aligned with defined SLAs and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs), ensuring uptime and performance. * Design and implement technical improvements in server and virtualization environments. * Diagnose and resolve critical incidents in Linux systems and virtualized environments. * Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and technological transformation. * Ensure system security through hardening, access control, and vulnerability management. * Coordinate with global teams to ensure proper service delivery and infrastructure evolution. Qualifications: Mandatory Requirements: * Minimum 4 years of experience in Linux Systems Administration (RedHat, Ubuntu or similar). * Minimum 4 years of experience managing virtualization environments (VMware, KVM or others). * Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
