**SCIENTIFIC-EDUCATIONAL DIRECTOR — Clinical Simulation with AI** Clinical simulation is expensive, slow, and does not scale. Training healthcare professionals in real-world skills (e.g., delivering bad news, detecting suicide risk, making decisions under pressure) still relies on actors, classrooms, and faculty hours that are insufficient. At MetaMedics, we are changing this. We have built the platform enabling medical schools, hospitals, and healthcare centers to create, deploy, and assess their own AI-powered clinical simulations: conversational avatars that respond like real patients, decision-making cases, and automated assessment using rubrics. We already collaborate with nursing schools, medical faculties, and hospitals in Spain and the U.S., and we are scaling rapidly. We seek the person who will own the clinical and pedagogical rigor of all this. This is not a desk-based role nor one of top-down supervision: it is the person who dives into content creation and, through that hands-on practice, determines how the product must evolve to truly teach. **What you’ll do:** * Design and create clinical content in our formats: decision-making cases, conversational avatars, ECOE/EIR-style scenarios, interpretation of findings, and medical protocols. * Define the methodology: templates, rubrics, and standards enabling our team and collaborators to replicate quality at scale. * Serve as the guardian of the platform’s pedagogical quality control. * Invent entirely new learning formats that do not yet exist in the market. * Lead the scientific validation of our AI-powered assessment systems. * Design and create specific courses and content within the platform. * Be the clinical voice of the product: your insights gained while creating content shape the roadmap. **Requirements:** * Clinical training with hands-on experience in clinical simulation or healthcare education. * Proficiency in educational methodology / instructional design. * Startup mindset: full autonomy, rapid iteration, and eagerness to build something from scratch. **Bonus points:** * Research experience, publications, or validation of assessment instruments. * Experience with simulation platforms (e.g., Laerdal, SimConverse) or EdTech. * English proficiency (we also work with the U.S.). **What we offer:** * Remote work and flexibility. * Real and measurable impact: your judgment directly shapes how thousands of healthcare professionals are trained. * A uniquely defined role in an emerging category being created right now. * Autonomy. * A small, flat team where your ideas become reality.
