Oxigent Technologies is seeking a QUALITY CONTROL (QC) ANALYST to join a project within an established pharmaceutical laboratory located in San Sebastián de los Reyes (Madrid).
**What will your main responsibilities be?**
* Perform routine analyses of pharmaceutical products, primarily injectables.
* Execute established analytical methods, especially using HPLC/UPLC/UHPLC.
* Carry out physicochemical determinations using techniques such as UV-Vis, IR, GC, potentiometry, Karl Fischer, TOC, pH, density, and refractive index, among others.
* Conduct Container Closure Integrity Testing (CCIT).
* Use and perform basic maintenance of laboratory equipment.
* Accurately record and interpret analytical results, following established procedures.
* Support method validation activities alongside the senior technician.
* Work in accordance with GMP, internal procedures, and pharmaceutical industry quality standards.
**What qualifications do you need?**
* Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Higher Technician in Laboratory Analysis and Quality Control, or equivalent.
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a Quality Control (QC) laboratory within the pharmaceutical industry.
* Solid experience in HPLC/UPLC/UHPLC and knowledge of chromatographic result interpretation.
* Experience with Empower will be highly valued.
* Knowledge and experience in analytical method validation.
* Familiarity with other analytical techniques such as GC, UV-Vis, potentiometry, Karl Fischer, or TOC.
* Understanding of GMP and quality procedures in a pharmaceutical setting.
* Experience with LIMS, microbiology, and knowledge of Pharmacopoeias and ICH guidelines will be considered an advantage.
