With guidance from your mentor, you will collaborate on reviewing results, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs), contributing to ensure that various teams have clear and reliable information to understand business evolution and support decision-making. **What will you do?** * Collaborate in reviewing periodic closings by gathering and organizing the necessary information to analyze results. * Participate in preparing and reviewing forecasts, becoming familiar with forecasting processes and business performance monitoring. * Analyze deviations between actual results and forecasts, helping identify major variances and their possible causes. * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), working with data sourced from multiple databases. * Support the preparation and updating of reports, using Excel to organize, review, and present data in a structured manner. * Collaborate in preparing results presentations, transforming data and analysis into clear, understandable information for various teams. **What are we looking for?** * A candidate eager to learn and grow within the Business Performance field in the hospitality sector. * Currently studying or having recently completed a degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics, Tourism, or related fields. * Availability to complete a six-month internship. * Intermediate level of Excel proficiency. * Advanced level of English. * Interest in data analysis, numbers, and business metrics. * Ability to work with multiple databases and organize large volumes of information. * Analytical thinking and attention to detail. * Ability to interpret information and detect deviations. * Interest in understanding the overall functioning of a Performance department. * Proactive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn. **Requirements to undertake the internship** * Ability to formalize an internship agreement with your university or educational institution for the six-month duration of the program. * Availability to reside in Mallorca during the internship period and attend Meliá’s corporate offices in Palma in person. **At Meliá, everyone is VIP** *At Meliá Hotels International, we champion* ***equal opportunities*** *for* ***women and men*** *in the workplace, backed by leadership commitment and aligned with the principles outlined in our Human Resources policies.
