Pedagogical: Provide and convey to monitors specific educational models regarding interpersonal relationships, behavior, values, and interpretation of the environment.
Plan activities based on Aramark’s Pedagogical Plan, taking into account each monitor and the characteristics of the children’s group.
Safety: Ensure personal safety, as well as that of the monitors and children during all activities, while ensuring compliance with established safety regulations.
Promotion and Facilitation: Stimulate communication and provide necessary tools and resources.
Tutorial: Understand individual and group objectives and identify opportunities for communication and interpersonal relationships.
Didactic: Facilitate social, intellectual, and skill-based learning by delivering clear, concise, expressive verbal explanations adapted to the profile of the monitor in front of us.
**Job Responsibilities**

* Understand the workplace context and act accordingly.
* Attend meetings deemed relevant by the site supervisor.
* Serve as the communication liaison between Aramark and the facility.
* Ensure that monitor staff fulfill all their obligations.
* Be available to the monitor team for any questions or issues, offering possible solutions, strategies, or techniques.
* Foster a positive work environment.
* Implement the Pedagogical Action Plan (PPA), evaluating it using the corresponding forms.
* Plan, lead, and facilitate activities, games, and workshops.
* Treat monitor team members fairly and equitably.
* Monitor and evaluate completed work.
* Inform the site supervisor or the pedagogical team of any doubts or incidents occurring during lunchtime service.
* Work collaboratively within and for the team.
* Prevent potential incidents through active and/or passive safety measures.
* Understand health-related considerations affecting children and respond appropriately—for example, if there are diabetic or allergic minors, or those experiencing serious family difficulties—and inform monitor staff with maximum discretion.
* Refrain from entering the kitchen or handling food that compromises our safety, cooking, transporting pots containing boiling water, etc.; if such tasks are performed occasionally, appropriate safety measures must be used.
* Wear appropriate clothing and footwear according to job requirements.
* Notify absences as far in advance as possible and submit the corresponding justification.
* Perform any other tasks assigned to ensure proper functioning of the service and facility activities.
**Qualifications**

The coordinator is ARAMARK’s daily physical representative in the absence of the supervisor; therefore, they must be an effective communicator, capable of organizing and managing with authority, while skillfully applying persuasion and influence over monitor staff. They must navigate social relationships adeptly, analyze situations, make firm decisions, and innovate across various scenarios—always guided by common sense and practical judgment. They must also be familiar with general and specific workplace regulations.
