The **Support and Cleaning** team is essential to ensuring every van is spotless, safe, and ready for the next customer—directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. **THE ROLE** The **Support and Cleaning Operator** focuses exclusively on maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of the rental fleet. This is a hands-on, physical, detail-oriented operational role responsible for: * Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors * Preparing campervans with kits and essential items * Inspecting vehicles upon return * Managing cleaning supplies and consumables * Supporting depot organization and logistics **WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?** * **Fleet cleaning:** Cleaning and maintaining vehicle interiors and exteriors to meet hygiene and presentation standards, consistently delivering high-quality results. * **Vehicle preparation:** Equipping campervans with required kits, bedding, and optional extras—ensuring readiness for bookings and check\-in/check\-out processes. * **Post-return inspection and reporting:** Inspecting returned vehicles for cleanliness, missing items, or damage, and reporting any issues for follow-up. * **Stock and consumables management:** Managing stock and consumables—including receiving, storing, and organizing supplies—as well as reporting shortages or damages. * **Depot logistics and organization:** Supporting depot logistics, keeping cleaning areas organized, moving vehicles, and assisting with operational needs during peak periods. **WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?** * **Required:** Experience in cleaning. **Preferred:** Experience in hospitality, warehouse, housekeeping, or operations. * **Required:** Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards. * **Required:** Good physical condition and ability to perform manual tasks (cleaning, lifting, moving equipment). * **Required:** Reliable, punctual individual capable of working in fast-paced environments. * **Required:** Valid driver’s license (Category B). * **Required:** English proficiency. **Preferred:** Proficiency in local language (where applicable). * PHYSICAL AND OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS * **Required:** Ability to perform physically demanding cleaning tasks throughout most of the shift—including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stretching, and repetitive motions. * **Required:** Comfort working inside vehicles (tight spaces, elevated surfaces) and outdoors around the fleet. * **Required:** Ability to lift, move, or carry cleaning equipment, vacuum cleaners, hoses, chemicals, or kits (up to 15 kg). * **Required:** Comfort safely using cleaning products and chemicals—including disinfectants, detergents, stain removers, glass cleaners, and surface treatments (training provided). * **Required:** Adherence to company safety guidelines when handling chemicals. * **Required:** Comfort working in varying temperatures and weather conditions while washing or preparing vehicles outdoors. * **Required:** Ability to maintain both quality and speed of cleaning during high-volume operations and peak season. * **Required:** Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and during peak-season hours. * **Required:** Ability to adapt to last-minute operational needs (e.g., urgent reassignments or additional cleaning tasks). **THE INDIE COMMITMENT** * Competitive compensation and travel benefits. * Clear progression path to the **RoadTrip Agent** role or other operational positions. * Training on cleaning standards, detail verification, minor repairs, and operational excellence. * A multicultural, dynamic workplace with a strong team spirit. **Are You Ready to Go Indie?**
